On Saturday September 27th we are drawing a line in the sand. Pro-Democracy groups from one end of California to the other are linking arms to protest Trump’s increasingly aggressive attacks on our democracy. We estimated 7,000 of you came together with us at the Ventura County Government Center on June 14th to peacefully assert that America wants No Kings! Now, we're asking you to come back on September 27th for our "Yes on Proposition 50" rally. This peaceful event will take place along an approximately 1.5 mile route spanning the the beachfront on both sides of the Ventura Pier. It will connect in spirit with protests up and down the coast as a demonstration of California's strength and solidarity to fight back against the Trump regime's immoral actions against our communities and his election rigging redistricting power grab. This is a moment to show the world that California will not back down. Together, we are stronger than the billionaires and dictators who seek to divide us - don’t poke the bear unless you want a fight! We are gathering our "middle" at the pier itself, and participants can choose to stand on the accessible promenade side of the pier or on the other side in the sand as we create an unbroken line of support.
