🎃 SAVE THE DATE! This Halloween season, join us in concocting a true horror for the billionaire class — Our people’s movement 💪 Even in the face of attempts to repress and intimidate us, we will continue fighting for a better San Diego and a thriving future for all people and the planet. From the struggle for Palestinian liberation to the struggle against ICE in our communities, we’ve built up a movement of people across the country of all backgrounds and experiences. Everyday people have the knowledge, skills and determination to protect our communities, our lives and futures, and our planet. We must keep growing that movement in order to win the change we need! We’re so grateful to @vista.lonesome.disco for partnering with us again for another Open Mic Night — this will be an event intended for our LGBTQ+ community and allies because for us, Pride is year-round! On October 17th, 6-9pm, bring your instruments, your poems, your art, and your voices. In community is where we can grow as people and reinvigorate our determination to keep going, to keep fighting. The mic will be completely open, but here’s some food for thought: What motivates you to fight for a better future? What does a thriving future for all people and the planet look like to you? To add to our night of performances, we’ll have refreshments, local community vendors, a raffle and a costume contest!
