We meet every Saturday to peacefully protest the actions of the current administration and to protect our Democracy. We are asking people to line the sidewalks in front of Lewis Park as well as the Town Hall across the street but not block any businesses along Main Street. As we peacefully resist we ask that you follow the following: Stay off of all private property and stand on the sidewalk or between the sidewalK and the road. We ask that you not block intersections and pedestrians if they need to get by. Please be respectful of businesses and not stand in front of such business. Do not use bullhorns or other application devises. Treat drivers with respect even if they do not support our positions. This is a peaceful rally so do not engage with any counter protesters or individuals with opposing views. Bring signs and recruit friends to participate. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
