The We Are America March (https://www.weareamericamarch.com/) arrives in Washington, DC on Friday, September 19th! The goal's to have 3,000+ people rally with the marchers on the National Mall and join them in solidarity for the last mile to the Capitol. In order to make the rally and march a safe and impactful event, 50501-DC needs your help! All volunteer activities will take place on the National Mall. We need: • Set up from 8:00am - 10:00am (6 spots); Set up the stages and tents. • Marshals from 10:00am - 2:00pm (20 spots); Keep the event safe and organized. • First Aid from 10:00am - 2:00pm (6 spots); Provide basic first aid and help coordinate EMS response if necessary. • Information Table from 10:00am - 2:00pm (4 spots); Provide information about the event and serve as a contact point for attendees. • Cleanup from 2:00pm - 5:00pm (6 spots); Clean up after the event by taking down stages and tents and cleaning up any litter left from the event.
