Students for Justice in Palestine

Teach-in On the Popular University & Repression of Student Movements

Join GWU SJP on Monday, Nov. 17th at 3pm on H St in front of the Kogan Gates for a teach-in on the history of student movement repression! 📚🇵🇸📚 The state has utilized the neoliberal university as an intermediary to effectively crush the “spark” to the revolution that student movements have historically constituted. Through concerted effort, our movement has succeeded in developing popular support amongst students on our campus and in strategically confronting the state and university’s collaborative crusade of repression. But as we search for the most effective way to enact change, we must understand how the university has been constructed as an intermediary for the state and a servant of the ruling class. So we make the case for a popular university—not just as a framework or concept, but as a real alternative institution built by the people in service of liberation. 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 https://tinyurl.com/423hb7sm
