Join PYM DMV for a discussion of America’s Forever Wars in the Middle East, a four-part course tracing the history and present reality of U.S. intervention in the region. Have you wondered why the U.S. govt continues to push a foreign policy predicated on endless war, devastating interventions, and unconditional support for Israel? This 4-part course provided by the Palestinian Youth Movement will illuminate how it is the imperialist system, and not just the ideological positions or policies of any one politician in office, that keeps America at war and invested in genocide and the destabilization of the Middle East. This in-person session will go over the course and be an opportunity to discuss and engage these critical histories and concepts. It is essential that we understand the imperialist system that underlies the ongoing drive for war in order to understand how to confront it.
