No Kings
NO KINGS Zürich
In Switzerland and America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
Our peaceful movement is growing—louder, stronger, and more united. “NO KINGS” is more than a slogan; it’s a call to defend democracy and human rights across borders. From Zurich to Washington, it echoes through city squares and rural towns alike, uniting people to reject dictatorship and resist authoritarian rule wherever it rises.
Autocrats believe their power is absolute. But here, we know the truth: democracy belongs to the people. We will not back down against corruption, cruelty, and attacks on human rights. Together, Swiss and American voices say No to oppression, no to kings.
A core principle of all No Kings events is a firm commitment to nonviolent action. We expect participants to de-escalate potential confrontations, to act lawfully, and to embody the democratic values we fight for. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, are not welcome at these events.
