DC residents deserve transparency about what federal agents are doing in our communities. That's why on March 3, DC Council unanimously passed the Full Accountability in Arrest Reporting (FAAR) Act, a bill to require MPD to report federal agents who are present at an arrest, document federal agents' use of force, and publish body-worn camera footage of that use of force. Mayor Bowser doesn't care. She vetoed the bill — and in doing so, showed all of us that she is willing to comply with a MAGA agenda even if it means setting up her own people to be attacked. We call on DC Council to override the mayor's veto and pass FAAR again.
