On Saturday, November 29 from 11:00-12:30p at 3100 14th St NW (Columbia Heights Target store): Join national boycott leaders alongside @boycotttargetdc & community partners & neighbors as we come together on Black Friday weekend to say We Ain’t Buying It! There will be a rally followed by an informational picket line with music. Target has capitulated to racist demands that they cut their investments in Black people, communities, and businesses. Local and national organizers have called for a boycott of Target until they reverse their decisions. We are honored to be part of a coalition of national and local organizations, labor unions, and community leaders launching a holiday shopping freeze from Black Friday through Cyber Monday this year. We will not support big businesses who bend to bigotry and instill fear among our neighbors by rolling back DEl and supporting ICE terror.
