This a local Indivisible event! Sundays, ongoing, 1 to 2 pm - Stand Up to Preserve and Restore Our Country. Every Sunday at 1 pm, we hold a vigil in Waterville on the Kennedy Memorial Drive bridge by CVS, holding up signs that demand restoration and preservation of our democracy. A core principle behind all Indivisible Mid Maine events is a commitment to nonviolence. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property.
