Join the Waunakee Democracy and Free Speech rally, where WE THE PEOPLE gather in a peaceful and family-friendly manner to stand for our shared American values in the rules and laws of our democracy. We rally against the MAGA regime’s unconstitutional actions. While its getting cold, we all agreed to continue because the issues are so important. We must stop the harmful actions that threaten our families, communities, and nation. Take a stand for protecting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Federal agencies, National parks, the Free press, Judicial systems, Educational institutions, the Environment, Equity/Diversity/Inclusion, US Aid, Immigrant rights, and more... Gather with our community Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the Waunakee Village Park (HW 19) near the 6 mile creek bridge and Village Waterworks Building. Parking is available in park. Sometimes we may have hot chocolate and snacks or go afterwards to a local cafe to warm up. Bring signs that let others know what matters to you. Some signs are available for use. Dress for the Weather and bring your calendars so we can plan future events. We are joining Mazomanie, Middleton and many other communities in holding similar events to Rally for Democracy!
