Cuba is running low on food and fuel following a weeks-long effort by the Trump administration to starve the island. This is only the latest effort in a 66 year long campaign of imperialist pressure and restrictions following the revolution of 1959, which overthrew a US-backed puppet regime. Cubans are being punished for daring to live their lives outside of the US sphere of influence.
