LOS ANGELES SILENT WOMEN’S MARCH [Read all event details]

March Chant Repeat

On March 8, WE MOVE TOGETHER. We wear purple. Bring a purple bandana if you have one. We will have a FREE bandana for the first 100 guests (one per person) We march in silence. Our signs should say the things they trained us to laugh off. EXAMPLE: “You’re too emotional.” And at the bottom, in plain language, THIS IS PATRIARCHY “Smile more.” THIS IS PATRIARCHY No chanting. No speeches mid-march. We want a presence that cannot be ignored. SAFETY: Make sure you have water, comfortable shoes, your poster, sunscreen, and dress for the weather. We've got your back, but you are responsible for yourself! 💜 TAG: @MARCHCHANTREPEAT & @WOMENSMARCH ✨GOALS: 1. Bodily Autonomy Without Negotiation This march affirms that women control their own bodies, health decisions, and reproductive futures. No government overreach. No forced birth. No medical gatekeeping dressed up as morality. Our bodies are not public property. 🙅🏽‍♀️ Economic Equity and Labor Justice Women carry unpaid labor, underpaid labor, and invisible labor. This march demands equal pay, affordable childcare, maternal protections, secure healthcare, and workplace safety. When women move, economies move. Compensation must reflect that! 💰 End Gender Based Violence and Systemic Dismissal From domestic violence to sexual assault to everyday minimization, women are routinely dismissed and endangered. This march calls for stronger protections, survivor-centered systems, and accountability across institutions. Silence for this march is a collective refusal to accept harm as normal. 🤫 🌷WE ALWAYS PREVAIL! 🌹
