Jewish Voice for Peace-Indiana

Film Screening | Gaza: Journalists Under Fire

LAFAYETTE: Please join us on Sunday, Nov 2nd, 3-5 pm for a screening of the recently-released documentary “Gaza: Journalists Under Fire” followed by discussion. Across Indiana, people are fasting for 24 hours at a time in solidarity with the people of Gaza. A local community member organized this screening to coincide with her fast day, and she will share her reflections on the film and her experience fasting. You may choose to join in the fast that day as well. Film description: Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed over 250 journalists in Gaza. This documentary exposes Israel’s crimes against journalism and humanity through the lives and tragic deaths of three Palestinian journalists: Belal Jadallah, Heba Al-Abadla, and Ismail al-Ghoul. This event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church in West Lafayette, 333 Meridian St. Use the entrance on Smiley St and join us in room 101/103.
