No Kings: West Union
Appalachian Edge Ohio Indivisible
This is about more than trump acting as a king, this is about white christian nationalism, genocide, ICE and police brutality, the rich raping children and tech bros stealing our land and resources.
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
This is a protest, not a festival. Make it meaningful, impactful, emotional. Connect with one another and organize.
Meet us at the Adams County Courthouse at 12pm to 3pm. Bring your signs, banners and voices. Make sure you visit our table and check out the resources and materials we have for you or for you to disperse. Our Free Market will be set up during the protest, think thrift store but everything is free. Bring what you can, take what you need or want. We all have something we may not want but someone else may need. For more info visit out website eoaohioindivisible.org If you haven’t yet, MAKE SURE you sign the Right to Marry Petition and the Ohio Equal Rights Amendment Petition before you leave. This is crucial.
One of the candidates for Congressional District 02 running against David Taylor, Jen Mazzuckelli, will be here protesting with us too. If you have any questions or want to know anything, this would be a good time to get informed before our primaries. We have to get David Taylor the hell out of office.
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
