No one wanted to take this step, but Donald Trump directed MAGA controlled states, Texas, North Carolina, Missouri, Ohio, and Florida, to take this unprecedented step of drawing new congressional maps to rig the midterm elections, and Virginians now face a real risk of having their voices diminished. No politician is entitled to power. We can stop Trump by voting YES to Fair Elections, on or before April 21st – a temporary fix to this MAGA power grab. This will put the power back in the hands of the people where it belongs. This amendment is a temporary, emergency exception that gives Virginians a crucial voice and meets the needs of the current moment, while ensuring Virginia’s bipartisan redistricting process will resume after the 2030 census.
