ICE Out of NC: “AND STAY OUT!"

Organized by ILM Action Network, Indivisible Wilmington, Wilmington DSA, and Brunswick Indivisible: Stepping Forward for Action ICE Out of NC: “AND STAY OUT!” is a formal, mass local rejection of the ICE operations in our state, and our town. We stand together in the name of Due Process, Justice FOR ALL, and the ending of brutal treatment toward human beings detained by ICE or CBP. We stand against the “hush hush” contracts to move people against their will to other counties, states, jurisdictions, or courts. Especially those held by the New Hanover County Sheriff’s office. On December 6th, Rain or Shine, we will be outside! We are taking our cries for justice to the streets, in both a protest and a march. We will also have a few scheduled speakers key to organizing locally AGAINST ICE movements/strategies. Build community, learn, and let your voice be heard! Siembra NC, Immigrant Allies Forum, and Wilmington DSA will be tabling. Stop by to get updates on their work and learn how you can help! Join us to stand for your friends, neighbors, and the immigrant community! Check out Linktr.we/ilmaction to learn more, volunteer, or see the posters! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
