Join us every Friday 4-6pm at the Intersection of Raleigh Road Parkway and Airport Boulevard in Wilson, NC. We are organizing peaceful, positive, and nonviolent demonstrations, open to all, where we can come together, stand up for our rights, and advocate for change. We are here to protect our democracy. We are standing up for what we believe in. We want to inspire people to join us and grow our movement! We are here to promote unity in our community, equality, and social justice, so bring positive signs please! Some examples: Instead of "Stop defunding science" Say "Protect research funding" Instead of "Stop fascism" Say "Save our democracy.” Other examples: Protect Medicaid, SNAP feeds kids, Justice for All, No ICE, Make signs about what you're standing up for -- whether that is SNAP, Due Process, VA Rights, Medicaid, DEI, healthcare, women’s rights, LGBTQIA+ Please no mocking signs and no swastikas as we aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
