Ramadan Kareem! ✨ We invite you again this year to our potluck style community Iftar evening for solidarity with Palestine and the wider anti-colonial cause. We begin the evening with a short presentation and discussion on the impacts of occupation on Palestinian food culture, and the weaponisation of food and water resources for war and genocide. Later at Iftar time, we feast together and strengthen our community. So bring delicious food/drinks/sweets (preferably from your cultures) that we can appreciate and enjoy together! NOTE: • Make sure what you bring is Halal • Please label your food with the name of the dish and its main ingredients for people with specific preferences or allergies. 📝🏷️ • Please bring your own dishes, glasses and spoons/cutlery 🍽️ • Please bring your own praying mats if you need to pray.
