This a local Indivisible event! December 7th and 14th. On the corner of 40th Avenue and River Road at 1pm a peaceful protest will take place to raise awareness about the impact of ICE actions on families and communities. The goal is to stand together, make our voices heard, and call for fair treatment and the protection of families. This gathering is meant to be loud, respectful, and united in support of immigrant communities and human rights. We will be marching at about 1:30pm one block to the sidewalk across from the I.C.E. office on River Rd to continue the protest! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
