This a local Indivisible event! We will meet on the corner of 40th Avenue and River Road at 1pm. We will gather to Rally in support of Democracy and hold a peaceful protest to raise awareness about the impact of ICE actions on families and communities. The goal is to stand together, make our voices heard, and call for fair treatment and the protection of people and families. This gathering is meant to be loud, respectful, and united in support of Democracy, immigrant communities, and human rights. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
