EMERGENCY EID Fundraiser 🇵🇸🇱🇧 for Palestine and Lebanon 🇵🇸🇱🇧 Date: Sunday 22 March, 14:00–20:00 Location: Les Complices*, Anwandstrasse 9, 8004 Zürich People in Lebanon are once again facing escalated zio-american aggression, violence and displacement, with many in need of medical care, shelter and essentials. In Gaza, israel continues to obstruct education recovery amid ongoing scholasticide. All proceeds will go directly to: 🇱🇧 @tanseqeye_shaabeye_lebanon who provide direct aid on the ground in Beirut; 🇵🇸 @sfp.gazafundraiser who cover tuition fees for university students in Gaza. Throughout the afternoon, the program includes: • Silkscreen printing (bring tshirts!) • Friendship bracelets • Riso posters • Drinks & snacks 👐🏽 Henna drawing from 16:00 to 19:00 by bassma.eladisey 🎬 Film screening at 15:00 → Frontiers of Dreams and Fears, by Mai Masri, 60’, 2001. Shot during the liberation of southern Lebanon from Israeli occupation and at the beginning of the Palestinian intifada, the film follows two Palestinian girls growing up in refugee camps in Beirut and Bethlehem. They correspond via letters but can’t see each other because of border regulations. Still, despite the risks, they decide to meet each other at the South Lebanon border. 🎤 Open mic at 19:00 → “From the belly of the beast…” 🎟️ Kollekte: 10-15-20 Fr.
