Celebrating Palestinian Child's Day
Jamaica Plain for Palestine
"The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; and I am beginning to suspect that whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality." - James Baldwin
On Sunday, April 5 from 3:30-5:30pm, JP4P is celebrating Palestinian Child’s Day at 633 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain. We’ll have face painting, a dabke workshop led by @nahdaproject , story time from a Palestinian children’s book, community reading of Gaza Monologues, a book sale and food for everyone, including of course kids! Donations collected to fundraise for a grassroots Palestinian organization.
Join us as we honor Palestinian children’s right to a liberated Palestine and beyond, free from colonial and imperialist violence. Bring and invite all the little ones in your life for this special event 🇵🇸❤️
“I don’t want to grow up. But the only thing that comforted me was the love of people who didn’t leave us for one moment. Gaza is full of love.” - Reem, aged 14 [from The Gaza Monologues]
