Join us for Here We Stand for Peace as part of Peace Week: A Week of Action. On Saturday, April 18, we’ll gather from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Protest Corner (826 W. Walnut, Johnson City) for a stationary protest calling for peace, diplomacy, and an end to endless war. This event follows the spirit of our regular Here We Stand protests—visible, community-centered, and grounded in showing up together. We’ll stand along the roadside with signs and make our presence known. Whether you’re a regular or joining for the first time, you are welcome. We always have extra signs available, so come as you are and stand with others in our community who believe in putting people over war. A core principle behind all Indivisible Tri-Cities TN Inc. events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
