IJAN Weekly Friday Picket At the Israeli Embassy

IJAN-UK

IJAN Weekly Friday Picket At the Israeli Embassy Friday 6th February 2026, 6 – 7pm Kensington High St, London W8 This week we mourn for the more than 70,000 dead in Gaza including the 500+ killed since the ceasefire, as well as the sudden passing of our own beloved Carol Foster. Carol was a proud IJAN member and a fierce activist for Palestinian liberation. All her life Carol has been a passionate campaigner against racism and imperialism, against South African apartheid, and male violence against women, among other causes. A member of the RMT union for much of her adult life, she could be found at early morning pickets supporting the fight for better wages and conditions for workers. She is deeply missed by people throughout the social justice movement and particularly in the pro-Palestine movement where she was widely known and loved. Carol, Presente! We also mourn the more than 500 Palestinian killed since the misnamed ‘ceasefire’ and all those killed by the criminal Zionist state, beginning with women and children, primary targets of this reproductive genocide. Last Sunday, Israel terminated all Doctors Without Borders (MSF) activities in Gaza and the occupied West Bank after the organisation refused to provide a list of its Palestinian staff. Such is the absolute control Zionists seek to impose, regardless of its impact on Palestinians – MSF provides at least 20 % of hospital beds in the territory and operate about 20 health centres. Along with millions around the globe, we fight to stop the genocide, for Palestinians self-determination, their right to return to their homes in historic Palestine, and to break all diplomatic and economic relations with the murderous state of Israel. Join us this Friday at the Israeli embassy as we celebrate the Filton Six victory in court, mourn for the dead and fight like hell for the living.
