The situation in Gaza remains ‘catastrophic’ according to the UN - air strikes are still occurring and the starvation has not ended. Jeremy Corbyn just disclosed a message from the director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza detailing a delivery of boxes to the hospital by the IDF. These boxes contained bodies of Palestinians, some having had their organs removed. It’s the same IDF whose ranks count 2000 British members. They walk free protected by the Israeli embassy and the UK government, while they should be arrested for war crimes. Some even run businesses, like at the Miznon restaurant in London. Arrest war criminals! While the Green Party is debating a motion equating Zionism to racism, the Israeli embassy pathetically tries to justify an apartheid State whose every action is racist to the core. Shut down the embassy! Our BDS movement is undermining them every day. A thousand councillors have pledged to oppose the genocide and divest pension funds (worth £12 billion) in companies enabling Israel’s crimes; 30 local authorities have already agreed and the upcoming May elections should see countless others joining in.
